Sharpened my cheapo knife in practice for when I need to sharpen my nice new knives. For comparison, I dragged the length of the knife blade across the edge of this grocery bag using only the weight of the knife. Even a crappy amateur job of sharpening a knife can make a big difference. The angle's all inconsistent along the edge, but it's still sharper thanks to some Japanese waterstones and some internet tutorials.
